Patrick Schoshinski advises high-net-worth individuals and families on their tax and wealth transfer strategies and provides sophisticated counsel on trusts and estate planning.

Patrick handles federal, state, and international taxation issues with an emphasis on intra-family wealth transfer planning. He counsels clients on the advisability of lifetime and testamentary trust arrangements and tailors strategies to minimize estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes. He advises closely held business owners on succession planning, including the creation of partnerships, limited liability companies and other entities.

Patrick has extensive experience working with fiduciaries and beneficiaries. He provides guidance on their respective duties and interests in trusts and estate matters ranging from routine administration to complex fiduciary litigation. He also advises clients on their charitable goals, including the creation of public charities and private foundations.
