Terms of Note:

  • 403(b) plans – Plans designed for certain employees of public schools, employees of certain tax-exempt organizations, and certain ministers.
  • 457 plans – Plans designed for certain state and local governments and non-governmental entities exempt from tax under IRC 501. Eligible plans are 457(b) plans and ineligible plans are 457(f).
