Greensfelder Officer Scott Cruz receives Crain’s Chicago Business honor
Crain’s Chicago Business has selected Scott Cruz, an officer in Greensfelder’s Employment & Labor practice group, as an honoree on its 2022 Notable Gen X Leaders in Accounting, Consulting and Law list.
Notable Gen X Leaders in Accounting, Consulting and Law recognizes professionals who “are leaders in their industries, managing offices, chairing legal groups and sitting on strategy-setting boards,” according to Crain’s Chicago Business. “Having established themselves as leaders in their fields, they are eager to help others rise through the ranks.” Cruz is featured in a Dec. 12, 2022, special edition of the publication.
Cruz advises employers on matters including hiring, job classifications, discipline, terminations and union avoidance. He also helps employers enforce non-competition and non-solicitation agreements and protect trade secrets and has significant experience with employment-related litigation. He is a board member of the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce and Alivio Medical Center, a nonprofit health center that serves uninsured and underinsured Latino communities.
Nominees for Notable Gen X Leaders in Accounting, Consulting and Law must be based in the Chicago area, be born between 1965 and 1980, and have shown the ability or power to effect change, serve as a role model in their company and have assumed a leadership position outside their organization.
