Greensfelder Adds Three Attorneys to Trusts & Estates Practice in St. Louis

October 3, 2022

Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Patrick Schoshinski, Chloe Cummings, and Anna Rudoi to the firm’s St. Louis office as counsel, and associates, respectively, in its Trusts & Estates practice group.

With more than two decades of experience as a trusts and estates lawyer, Schoshinski focuses his practice on advising high-net worth individuals and families on federal, state, and international taxation and intra-family wealth transfer planning. He helps clients reach their estate planning goals by providing counsel on lifetime and testamentary trust arrangements and strategies to minimize estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes.

Schoshinski also advises closely held business owners on succession planning, including the creation of partnerships and limited liability companies. He acts as a trusted and reliable advisor to families and individuals through their life’s transitions.

Before joining Greensfelder, Schoshinski practiced at a firm in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, where his practice focused on taxation and trusts and estate law. He earned his LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law, and his B.A. in Political Science from Mount Saint Mary’s College.

Cummings’ practice focuses on a wide range of tax, trust and estate planning strategies. She counsels clients on tax and non-tax aspects of their estate planning and business succession needs. She has helped draft and implement a variety of estate planning documents and strategies, including wills, powers of attorney, and various trust agreements such as special needs trusts, gifting trusts, and irrevocable life insurance trusts.

Cummings was previously a trusts and estates associate at an Illinois-based firm and an attorney advisor at the Illinois Pollution Control Board. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Chicago-Kent College of Law and her B.S. from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

“We’re excited to welcome Patrick, Chloe, and Anna to the firm and to our St. Louis office,” said Greensfelder President and Chief Executive Officer Kevin T. McLaughlin. “They are a strong addition to the growing Trusts & Estates practice with considerable experience assisting high-net worth individuals and families in sophisticated wealth preservation and estate planning matters.”
