Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. is pleased to announce that Benjamin D. Rotman has joined the firm as counsel in its Intellectual Property practice group.
Rotman focuses on a wide range of complex matters, including U.S. and foreign patent and trademark prosecution, IP portfolio development and management, availability searches and clearance opinions, copyright registration, internet domain disputes, and online enforcement actions. He was also involved in product development, project prototyping, materials analysis and research, design of experiments, tolerance analysis, statistical analysis, and intellectual property development.
Before joining Greensfelder, Rotman worked at a Chicago-area law firm where he counseled on U.S. and foreign patent and trademark prosecution and IP portfolio management. He earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
