Andy Manuel named as American College of Construction Lawyers Fellow

March 22, 2021

Greensfelder Officer Andrew W. Manuel has been elected to be a Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers (ACCL). He was inducted into the College as part of the recent ACCL 2021 Annual Meeting, which was held virtually this year.

Manuel is one of 10 lawyers to join ACCL’s Class of 2021. In becoming an ACCL Fellow, Manuel follows in the footsteps of previous Greensfelder attorneys elected to the prestigious organization including Jim Hawkins, Jim Scott and Tim Thornton.  Those selected as ACCL Fellows have demonstrated skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in construction law. The organization includes, by invitation only, construction law practitioners, professors, and judges from across the country. It provides advanced educational programs and a high-level professional forum for the exchange of ideas and development of solutions to legal issues affecting the construction industry.

Manuel is the leader of Greensfelder’s construction practice group and has extensive experience with large, complex mediation, arbitration and litigation matters. His practice covers the spectrum of issues involving the construction process on behalf of contractors, design professionals and owners. He was recently named the St. Louis area Construction Law Lawyer of the Year for 2021 by The Best Lawyers in America. A former mechanical engineer and project manager, he earned his law degree from University of Houston Law Center.
