Zack Smith named one of National Black Lawyers’ 40 Under 40
Greensfelder attorney Zack Smith has been named to The National Black Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40 list.
The NBL’s list recognizes black attorneys from all 50 states who are under age 40 and have an outstanding reputation among their peers, the judiciary, and the public. The NBL evaluates nominees based on factors including legal achievements, professional memberships, leadership roles, and rankings from other national organizations. The organization’s mission is to develop a strong national network of attorneys and promote their legal excellence.
Zack is an associate in Greensfelder’s Litigation practice group and is based in St. Louis. He received his law degree from Washington University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Lindsey Wilson College. At Greensfelder, Zack’s diverse litigation practice consists of a broad spectrum of representative matters, including but not limited to general and complex commercial litigation, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings in jurisdictions throughout the country. He also represents clients in industries such as energy, franchising, telecommunications, and securities. Recently, Zack successfully defended a major oil and gas company in federal court against claims for alleged breaches of a franchise agreement and purported violations of the Petroleum Marketing Practices Act. He also represents clients in toxic tort litigation.
