David Simmons, Rachel Hirshberg to join Leadership Council on Legal Diversity programs
Greensfelder is pleased to announce that David J. Simmons has been chosen to participate in the 2019 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows Program and Rachel M. Hirshberg will participate in LCLD’s Pathfinder Program. Simmons is an officer in Greensfelder’s Litigation practice group, and Hirshberg is an associate in the Business Services group.
LCLD’s Fellows Program aims to identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. Simmons joins a select group of experienced attorneys from diverse backgrounds who have been recognized for their potential as leaders in their organizations. The program offers a yearlong, in-depth experience that provides opportunities for relationship-building and training.
The LCLD Pathfinder Program is in its fourth year as a full-scale program. It assists early-career attorneys with critical career development strategies including leadership and the building of professional networks.
Since 2010, Greensfelder has been a member of LCLD, a national group that includes managing partners of law firms and general counsel from major corporations. LCLD’s goals are to promote diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and foster leadership skills.
