Karen Johnson, Katie Fechte to join Leadership Council on Legal Diversity programs
Greensfelder is pleased to announce that Karen Johnson has been chosen to participate in the 2020 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows Program and Katie Fechte will participate in LCLD’s Pathfinder Program. Johnson is an officer in Greensfelder’s Intellectual Property practice group, and Fechte is an associate in the Employment & Labor group.
Since 2010, Greensfelder has been a member of LCLD, a national group that includes managing partners of law firms and general counsel from major corporations. LCLD’s goals are to promote diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and foster leadership skills, and its Fellows Program aims to identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders.
As this year’s fellow, Johnson will join a select group of experienced attorneys from diverse backgrounds who have been recognized for their potential as leaders in their organizations. The program offers a yearlong, in-depth experience that provides opportunities for relationship-building and training while enhancing participants’ commitment to fostering diversity in the profession.
The LCLD Pathfinder Program is in its fifth year as a full-scale program. It assists early-career attorneys with critical career development strategies including leadership and the building of professional networks.
