Greensfelder earns Cigna Well-Being Award in recognition of employee wellness efforts
Greensfelder has received a 2020 Cigna Well-Being Award in recognition of the firm’s significant efforts to enhance employee wellness.
The Cigna Well-Being Award recognizes employers that have succeeded at building a culture of well-being that has positively impacted employee health. The selection process evaluates areas including leadership support for employee wellness initiatives and company policies and programs that support a culture of well-being. Cigna notes that the recipients are organizations that have made well-being “part of their business philosophy.”
Greensfelder’s Well-Being Program, launched in early 2019, is led by Human Resources Manager Jessie Fenton. The comprehensive program aims to increase the overall well-being of all employees through opportunities offered in the areas of physical, financial, emotional and social health. Benefits of the program have included healthy food in the offices, wellness prizes and challenges, yoga and meditation classes, and educational programs.
Greensfelder also was recently named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s Healthiest Employers list for 2020.
