Thad Felton takes leadership role in Greensfelder’s Chicago office
Greensfelder Officer Thadford A. Felton has been named managing officer of the firm’s Chicago office, effective May 3. Felton is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group, as well as its Board of Directors. He joined the firm in 2013.
“Thad is a veteran litigator and leader who is well-positioned to lead our Chicago office into the next decade,” said Greensfelder Chief Executive Officer Timothy R. Thornton. “Not only does Thad excel as a trusted advisor to our business clients, but his perspective as a member of our firm’s board of directors will be an asset for facilitating a holistic approach to the continued growth of our Chicago office.”
In his new leadership role, Felton will focus on helping the Chicago team continue to provide top-level client service while also contributing to the enrichment of the legal community in Chicago. In addition to his role on the board at Greensfelder, Felton co-chairs a firm committee focused on strategic growth and lateral recruiting.
Felton has more than 20 years of experience as a litigator and as outside corporate counsel for a variety of national clients. He received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology and his Bachelor of Arts from Denison University.
