Congratulations to John Petite on major appellate victory

Greensfelder attorney John Petite briefed and argued an appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, which reversed a district court judgment and held that a brand covenant in the real property deed to a gas station was valid and enforceable. The same restriction was used in deeds to more than 100 stations in Virginia and is thus a critical safeguard of the client's distribution model in that geography.
