2019 Governmental Plans Continuing Education Series

Please join us for a seminar highlighting topics relevant to best practices for governmental plans. We will offer a two-hour program on November 19 at The Lodge Des Peres.

The education requirement for public pension trustees who have already served one year is 2 hours. We are offering this educational opportunity to satisfy this requirement in one evening. The seminar has also been approved for 2.4 Missouri CLE hours. 

Scheduled topics and speakers are:

  • A Review of Recent Cases Involving Governmental Retirement Plans, presented by Thomas Mug, Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C.
  • Fiduciary Duties in the Public Sector and Best Practices, presented by Kara Krawzik, Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C.
  • JCPERS: The Joint Committee on Public Employee Retirement: What Do They Do? presented by John Hefele, Fiduciary Advisors, Inc.
  • Let the Sunshine In – A Review of Missouri Sunshine Law, presented by Frank Vatterott, Vatterott Harris P.C.

This event is open to the public, but we ask that participants register in advance.
