Leadership Council on Legal Diversity: Greensfelder supports the efforts of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, a national group that includes managing partners of law firms and general counsel from major corporations. LCLD’s goals are to promote diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and foster leadership skills. Its annual Fellows Program provides leadership training and connections for mid-career attorneys, and several Greensfelder attorneys have participated as LCLD fellows.
Other community efforts: Greensfelder and its attorneys provide financial and volunteer support to a number of diversity-related organizations, including:
- Mound City Bar Association
- Missouri Asian-American Bar Association
- National, regional and local Black Law Students Association events and programs
- St. Louis Women Lawyers Association
- St. Louis Hispanic Bar Association
- Lawyers for Equality
- Minority Council Program
High School Pipeline: Greensfelder participates in high school pipeline initiatives that expose minority students to opportunities in the legal profession. Each year, the firm sends representatives to area high schools to talk about legal career opportunities and invites students to attend a half-day program at the firm, where they learn about different legal practice areas and what it takes to apply for and get into law school.
