Greensfelder’s Real Estate Practice Group regularly assists clients in completing complex real estate transactions. We represent clients whose primary business is real estate, including developers, investors, landlords and property managers. We also represent clients for whom real estate constitutes an important part of their business, including local and national retailers, for profit and not-for-profit property owners, tenants, lenders and borrowers. Our attorneys routinely handle transactions involving real estate located in the Midwest and have significant experience handling real estate transactions throughout the United States. Our attorneys know and understand the real estate business and the needs of our clients. We offer innovative, value-added solutions to address our client’s real estate issues.
The experience of the attorneys in our practice group covers virtually all aspects of real estate transactions including development, land use/zoning, acquisition, disposition, financing (including public and private financing and the representation of both lenders and borrowers), leasing, condominiums, environmental, tax-free exchanges/tax planning and workouts. Our attorneys’ work is focused in areas including retail, industrial, office, residential, multi-family, hotel and health care related acquisition, disposition and leasing (including ground and build to suit leases), joint ventures and developments, mixed-use developments, REAs/CCRs, tax increment financing, transportation development districts and historic tax credits. We routinely work with attorneys in other Practice Groups, such as Corporate, Environmental, Tax, Bankruptcy and Litigation, to provide our real estate clients with advice regarding all aspects of their business.
