Carolyn Dolan represents clients in real estate legal matters, focusing on lending transactions on behalf of banks and borrowers and commercial leasing on behalf of landlords and tenants. Her work includes acquisitions and dispositions, development and leasing of ground, retail, build-to-suit office and industrial sites.
Carolyn has negotiated and drafted purchase and sale agreements, reciprocal easement agreements, leases and loan documents. Her experience includes significant involvement with environmental consultants, title companies, planned community associations, engineers and surveyors.
In her previous role as an in-house real estate attorney for a life insurance company, she handled all legal matters relating to the origination, closing and servicing of commercial mortgage loans between $1 million and $20 million throughout the United States. She negotiated, drafted and closed loans for her company, third-party lenders and securitized pools. While in-house, Carolyn also handled all aspects of commercial real estate transactions including purchases, sales, leases and development. She handled day-to-day legal issues for 11 field offices.
