Our practice includes eminent domain work on behalf of landowners as well as condemning authorities. First, we represent landowners whose property has been taken by government entities, such as municipalities or the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission, or by private redevelopment corporations or utilities. We have represented cities or private redevelopers in condemnation actions. This Firm represented the condemning authorities in the Meacham Park Redevelopment Project in Kirkwood, and in the Cardinal Ritter College Prep Project in the Vandeventer-Spring Redevelopment Area in the City of St. Louis. In addition, our practice includes
constitutional takings claims such as inverse condemnations. We represented the landowners whose property was taken for the Katy Trail in a successful claim against the federal government.
