Mr. Adkins is Officer in the Real Estate Practice Group. He represents clients in real estate, municipal and general business law.
Mr. Adkins has assisted a wide variety of clients in most all aspects of real estate transactions, including entity formation and acquisition, disposition, and development issues. He has handled financing issues including Tax Increment Financing (TIF). Mr. Adkins has negotiated and drafted leases, and tax-free exchange of commercial and residential real estate. Mr. Adkins has represented clients with respect to zoning issues. Mr. Adkins is experienced in the drafting and negotiating of sale agreements, leases including ground, retail, industrial and office space leases, loan and security instruments, management agreements, licenses, subdivision indentures, declarations and easements.

- Advised national and local real estate developers in most all aspects of real estate transactions, including the acquisition, disposition, development, financing, leasing (including ground, office, retail and industrial leasing), financing and zoning of commercial and residential real estate.
- Advised large grocery store chain in a complex sale-leaseback financing transaction.
- Advised numerous clients in tax-deferred exchanges of real estate and other real estate related tax planning.
- Advised regional charter airline and aviation company in the acquisition, long-term leasing and development of its office/maintenance/hangar facilities.
- Advised national telecommunications company in the development of its telecommunications system.
