Mr. Mollett is an Officer in the Litigation and Environmental Practice Groups. Mr. Mollett represents clients in real estate, environmental and commercial litigation.

As part of his real estate practice, Mr. Mollett represents and counsels real estate developers, property owners and property managers. His practice involves risk assessment, counseling and litigation of sales and lease relationships. Mr. Mollett has been a featured presenter on commercial lease transactions and lease enforcement as part of the Missouri continuing legal education process. Mr. Mollett has litigated rent and possession, unlawful detainer, forcible entry and detainer, condemnation, inverse condemnation and private takings cases.

Mr. Mollett has extensive experience in CERCLA and RCRA litigation and liability allocation. His environmental practice has included representation of small and medium size companies, not-for-profit corporations and large industrial and commercial clients such as those in the petroleum refining, secondary aluminum and primary zinc manufacturing industries. Mr. Mollett has investigated and brought claims for underground storage tank liability and has experience defending clients from environmental and toxic tort allegations, such as environmental nuisance, environmental trespass, negligence, strict liability and medical monitoring.

Mr. Mollett has experience with the Federal Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act as well as enforcement proceedings under each. In addition to litigating liability issues, Mr. Mollett has advised clients regarding criminal penalties, civil penalties and debarment.

Mr. Mollett's commercial practice involves both litigation and client counseling. Mr. Mollett has litigated breach of contract cases, breach of fiduciary duty claims, UCC sales, lease and commercial paper claims, Magnuson-Moss warranty claims, shareholder disputes and disputes regarding stock transfers and business asset sales.

Mr. Mollett has tried jury and non-jury cases and represented clients in Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, Texas and Arkansas. He has represented clients in the Missouri and Illinois appellate courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the Illinois Supreme Court.

In addition to litigating cases, Mr. Mollett advises business clients on general business and commercial law. Mr. Mollett has an M.B.A., has lectured in business law at the University of Illinois and has prior professional experience in the insurance industry where he concentrated in business torts, catastrophic injury, insurance coverage disputes and fraud. Mr. Mollett holds the C.P.C.U. designation earned from the American Institute of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters in 1994.
