David Ybarra is an Officer in the Litigation Practice Group where he represents clients in the areas of general civil and complex commercial litigation, including product liability, mass toxic tort litigation, and trucking and transportation related matters. He represents manufacturers and retailers in all areas of product liability. He also has experience overseeing and managing mass toxic tort litigation, specifically, the defense of asbestos lawsuits in Madison and Cook County, Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Ybarra’s trucking and transportation practice ranges from simple accidents to catastrophic losses as well as other areas affecting this industry such as freight claims, insurance issues, labor and employment law, and leasing agreements.
Mr. Ybarra represents clients at the trial and appellate court levels and at arbitrations and mediations. His experience in all aspects of trial work allows him to achieve the best possible results for his clients. Mr. Ybarra has tried numerous cases before various tribunals in both Illinois and Missouri achieving favorable results for both local and regional clients. He has also successfully briefed appeals before the Illinois Supreme Court, Fifth District Illinois Court of Appeals, and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
