Daniel Batten is an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Batten represents clients in general commercial litigation and intellectual property matters, including the enforcement of trademarks, patents, and copyrights. In addition to his experience in both state and federal courts, Mr. Batten represents clients in front of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Trademark Trial, and Appeal Board. He also has experience in recovering domain names from cybersquatters through the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) proceedings. Mr. Batten also works with clients in landloard/tenant disputes.
Prior to graduating from law school, Mr. Batten was an intellectual property paralegal for eight years, working in the areas of patent and trademark prosecution, trademark litigation, and Internet domain name dispute resolution.
