Our attorneys provide advice and prepare various types of design and construction contract documents. Our attorneys are also skilled in representing clients in mediations, arbitrations and litigation. Our group handles contract matters, mediations, arbitrations and litigation in Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois. The types of matters we are entrusted by our clients to handle include the pursuit of and the defense of: delay, disruption and acceleration claims; contract claims; construction defect claims; design defect claims; and claims for additional compensation. We also advise on claim avoidance. In addition, we handle bid protests, bid mistakes and other procurement matters. Members of our group are knowledgeable about such areas affecting the construction industry as mechanic's liens, insurance, bonds, indemnity, warranties, and contract requirements concerning change orders and time extensions.
Members of our group include licensed civil and mechanical engineers and architects. We are actively involved in organizations including the American Society of Civil Engineers, Associated General Contractors of St. Louis, Engineers’ Club of St. Louis and the St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers.
