Ms. Pauls is an Officer in the Corporate Practice Group. Ms. Pauls' concentrates her business law practice principally in the areas of commercial and public finance and mergers and acquisitions.
Ms. Pauls has represented borrowers and lenders in numerous commercial finance transactions, including acquisition, secured, unsecured, asset-based, and syndicated financing transactions. She has extensive experience with formation, implementation and operation of various public finance and economic development tools, including Tax Increment Financing, Business Districts and Enterprise Zones in Illinois. Her mergers and acquisitions and general business practices involve a wide-range of publicly traded and closely held businesses in numerous industries, including communications, real estate development and food processing and manufacturing.
