Mr. Hammerman is an Associate in the Technology Transactions Practice Group. He advises on a wide range of intellectual property matters, with a focus on technology transactions, privacy and information security.
Mr. Hammerman represents established companies in the financial services, healthcare, and education sectors, as well as software developers, inventors, and Internet start-ups. He has significant experience structuring, drafting and negotiating technology procurement, outsourcing, licensing, e-commerce, and related technology transactions. He also counsels on privacy, information security, and vendor management best practices.
Mr. Hammerman received a J.D. in 2002 from Stanford Law School, where he was awarded the ABA/BNA Books Award for Excellence in Intellectual Property. He received his A.B. in Comparative Literature from Stanford University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with Departmental Honors and Distinction. Mr. Hammerman's honors thesis on the Irish novelist Silas Flannery appears in the Summer 2003 edition of the Review of Contemporary Fiction.
Mr. Hammerman is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Prior to joining Greensfelder, Mr. Hammerman began his practice as an associate in the Technology Transactions Group of Cooley Godward in Palo Alto, California.
