Recruiting Process

Each year our Recruiting Committee reviews the credentials of law students from top law schools around the country, as well as those of applicants whose backgrounds include experience with judicial clerkship programs, corporate legal departments and private practice.

We seek individuals with a strong history of successful performance, both academically and with respect to their professional and personal experiences. In hiring associates, we look for candidates who are motivated to develop their skills in an intellectually challenging environment and who demonstrate their commitment to the firm's reputation for integrity and expertise in service to our clients.

Generally, Greensfelder fills its summer class with second-year students, whom we recruit during the fall semester, and first-year students, whom we recruit in the spring semester. We participate in many on-campus interview programs in the Missouri and Illinois areas and encourage students from other schools to submit their applications through our Career Portal.
